Last time when i was in Ahmedabad, Gunjan and I were discussing our water coloring techniques. She uses a lot of wet on wet and i use a lot of wet on dry. She suggested that we try illustrating the same thing in our own respective styles. So i made this here comic and then we colored it in...

I colored the first panel, she did the second and the third was a joint venture.... :P

P.S. : - Gunjan told me that the X-Men was actually based on LGBT issues prior to the making of the strip....

I'm not at home... far away from my computer, my desk with my nice stationery and paper and light box... but i have a sketchbook... i am drawing but can't put up anything online... alas, my old dilemma of not having a scanner at hand comes back to haunt me... i will collect all when i reach home and then i will put them up... it will be like an explosion... an explosion of comics!! Lots of comics... :D

till then.... i ask you all to have some people in hospitals...

I'm going to do this... i don't do a lot of things i promise... but i hope i'll be able to do this... i'm planning on making a comic everyday... and i'm going to put them up here... i might not be able to post someday... but i will put up the comic i made that day the next day... i hope i can do this... at least for a month... if that happens.... then i'll try aiming for a year... :P

Done entirely on illustrator... felt weird while doing this, i hadn't used illustrator for more than a year... but i got used to it soon enough again... :P

i'll be putting up more stuff from the launch, after it happens... :D

P.S. :- for some reason, when i upload the banner on my blog, the gradation looks like shite... tried exporting a different version of the same picture and then reposting, but it didn't help it much... :(

I'm trying coloring over pencil renders... following the previous post, this came out a little better, but i'm still not that satisfied...

I tried out some colors on this... doesn't look particularly good... i'm still going to put it up though... :P
