Three Heads

Something I'm working on. I felt like writing/drawing something fun. Lets see how it turns out. Maybe a page every day or however much I can churn out, with my existing commitments. Also, need to dump sketches before the year is out, and maybe a new header for the new year...(maybe)...

Punkha

It has been sometime since my last post. I have been working on a lot of projects, and I moved out of my comfortable home in Guwahati, so I found it quite difficult to be regular. Anyhoo.... Around a year back, me and a friend were discussing what we wanted to do with our lives, we were both against the idea of working for someone else. We wanted to chill, relax and do things for ourselves at our own pace... so we decided to start a company of our own... and we did... YAY! 

Its called PunKha... and it is going to be a whole lot of fun... Wish us luck... :D

I'm Back! - Daily Comic 34 - Sketch Dump

So... After a long break... I'm back... I tried taking breaks from all the resting and the sleeping to draw. I tried filling one page every day... Got a little busy towards the end, so nothing after the 7th day... :P

Off to Haflong in approximately one and a half hours. Yay!

This illustration was done some 6 months back. I just added the caption right now. Have been a bit busy with the packing and syncing my psp with videos and songs for the trip. I have no entertainment in Haflong... :(

I'm depressed... and bored... and lazy... so i didn't color in the hair... and i didn't align the panels...but you still get the message...

I completed a month... but... with breaks in between... but it is only getting more difficult to generate more ideas now... so i think i'm going to continue daily comics, to see where this gets us...
Unfortunately, I 'm heading for Haflong the day after tomorrow... so... no scanner... and no equipment... that makes it very difficult for me to make comics... but... i will sketch... so massive sketch dump is expected after I return to Guwahati.

Hopefully, i will still be posting tomorrow...

BECHAIN NAGRI

This time they wanted all the covers to follow a theme. I based my covers on Monster foods.

3) Ketchup Vampire.
4) Big Foot-long.
5) Undead Leftovers.

The paper is super nice, I've tried out most all mediums on it and they work wonderfully. The paper doesn't have much grain though, so i don't like using pencils on it, but for everything else it is awesome! :D

Last time when i was in Ahmedabad, Gunjan and I were discussing our water coloring techniques. She uses a lot of wet on wet and i use a lot of wet on dry. She suggested that we try illustrating the same thing in our own respective styles. So i made this here comic and then we colored it in...

I colored the first panel, she did the second and the third was a joint venture.... :P

P.S. : - Gunjan told me that the X-Men was actually based on LGBT issues prior to the making of the strip....

Where are you? You Bastard!!

I'm not at home... far away from my computer, my desk with my nice stationery and paper and light box... but i have a sketchbook... i am drawing but can't put up anything online... alas, my old dilemma of not having a scanner at hand comes back to haunt me... i will collect all when i reach home and then i will put them up... it will be like an explosion... an explosion of comics!! Lots of comics... :D

till then.... i ask you all to have some people in hospitals...
