Illustration Friday : Voices 1

looking for voices they can hear,
they can't see who,
but they suspect they know.
can you hear them too?

three versions... all feedback welcome... :D

Fuchsias, pinks, purples, and aquas! All great colors on the different faces.

Thank you all for your comments... Generally bored i was making faces... and then continued... and then kept on going... till i was left this...

thought it would be appropiate for voices... i wanted the skin to be tones and variants of a particular color... i thought purple was nice... but photoshop gives you so many options i couldn't help myself... :D

Apart from the exciting use of colour, these are quite evocative illustrations which somehow manage to be fun and disturbing at the same time. I think it's the facial expressions and the way they're all packed in!

Very nice...love all the different colors. Are they supposed to represent the different moods of the voices in your head?

My voices are coming from my stomach, and they are telling me I want pancakes today! : )

What a cool concept for the topic! I'd be hard pressed to pick one that I like the best - each version has a different mood that's influenced by the colors. I would almost think that each version could represent different kinds of voices! I love your banner illustration!

I love color, so I appreciate the colors, but there is something about the line drawing, that brings about a stronger feeling. Maybe it's just me, but that's my favorite! Bravo!

I think the yellow and the blue colors are the two strongest. Those two (in my opinion)tie into the composition and compliment the expressions.

Hmmmm, I think I like the middle --purple/pink one --- best. :) All are very well done though.
